Our History
Alan & Bryan first opened in 1997 as Alan Freeman Produce and when Alan retired in 2007 Bryan took sole charge and renamed this highly regarded company to Freemans Farm Produce. When the company was acquired by current owner Bryan Brown seeing an opportunity for further growth within the wholesale sector Bryan and his son Paul expanded the business adding several new products, as well as continuing to concentrate on the most popular products, including perennial favourites such as swedes, carrots, parsnips, onions and potatoes.
Supplying wholesalers, caterers & food processors throughout the length and breadth of the UK Freemans Farm Produce offers a broad portfolio of high quality, competitively priced vegetables. The company’s success stems from an honest and up-front attitude to all their growers & customers with a total commitment to both grower & customer satisfaction. Customers expect fresh vegetables at competitive prices with reliable service, and that’s what they get.
In order to achieve this, Freemans Farm Produce only source produce from growers that reach our own very high standards, in terms of both quality and service. Indeed, we know our growers extremely well and have complete confidence in their ability to deliver only the very best produce. It is also looking for additional growers too, but only those that can provide quality produce.
The company’s growers are based throughout the UK as well as many of the European union. It also procures produce from other various organisations that import from all over the world, but wherever the produce comes from, one thing remains constant – quality.
